Sally Rech: Cultivating a Legacy in Lancaster, WI
Sally Rech (pronounced r-i-c-h) is a dedicated flower farmer from Lancaster, Wisconsin. As she enters her sixth year of commercially cultivating three acres of cut flowers, her passion for horticulture spans over two decades. Raised on a homestead with expansive vegetable gardens, gardening has always been a cornerstone of her life. Alongside her husband, Brad, Sally has imparted these valuable skills to their four children, establishing a family business deeply rooted in love and nature.
Inspired by Floret Flower Farm, Sally took an online flower farming course, which ignited her journey into professional flower farming. This passion led to the creation of Rech Family Gardens, a thriving venture that includes a bouquet CSA, wedding and event services, and a strong presence at the Dane County Farmers Market in Madison, WI. Sally also hosts workshops, annual farm events like Tulip Days and Sunflower Fest, and supplies wholesale flowers to local florists.
